Our Services
MRI Group provides a full range of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures. All of the MRI units at all our locations, including our Open MRI, are appropriate for all ages. In addition, the MRI Group provides a variety of CT services, including cardiac imaging services at our 64-slice CT scanner.
We understand that there is never a good time for medical tests or procedures, so we offer our services 24 hours a day, seven days a week for both outpatients and inpatients from local hospitals.
Expect personalized, professional care
At MRI Group, you are in the care of experienced professionals. All our diagnostic MRI procedures conform to American College of Radiology (ACR) guidelines. Before your MRI study, we review your health history and screen you thoroughly. Registered technologists perform imaging services; board-certified, licensed physicians monitor sedation and administration of contrast material; and local, board-certified, licensed doctors interpret your images and provide your physician with the results.

Breast MRI
Magnetic resonance imaging of the breast has helped physicians diagnose a broad range of conditions, because it can often provide doctors with information about breast health that other imaging technologies cannot. Breast MRI is not a replacement for mammography or ultrasound imaging, but rather a supplemental tool for detecting and staging breast cancer and other breast abnormalities. Breast MRI can offer several advantages:
- Non-invasive
- No radiation exposure
- Ability to diagnose abnormalities that may be hidden by bone when using other imaging methods
- Ability to provide additional information on a diseased breast in order to make treatment decisions
- Ability to detect and stage breast cancer when mammograms and ultrasounds don’t provide enough information
- Ability to determine whether cancer detected by mammography, ultrasound, or after surgical biopsy has spread further in the breast or into the chest wall
- Ability to image dense breast tissue, common in young women
- Ability to image breast tissue in women with breast implants
- Ability to determine the integrity of breast implants
What to expect
The MRI is a short, painless test that lasts from 20 minutes to an hour. Before your MRI, we’ll call to confirm your appointment, review your medical history, give you additional information and answer any questions you may have.
